California Solar Panel & Battery Prices
Request the same usable system specification from each installer: panel capacity, inverter, roof sections and any electrical upgrades. The solar price guide explains the equipment components without assuming one package is right for every California home.
California Solar Plans & Export Value
For new systems in PG&E, Southern California Edison and SDG&E territories, compare the applicable Solar Billing Plan rather than assuming the older net-metering terms. Exported electricity and electricity you avoid buying can have different values. Other California utilities have their own arrangements, so identify the provider and tariff for your address before accepting a savings calculation.
If a battery is recommended, request the comparison with and without it. Keep bill management separate from outage backup, and ask which loads the proposed installation could actually support. These are different reasons to purchase storage.

Solar PricesCalifornia Solar Installers & Purchase Terms
Compare the cash price with the financed total over the stated term. Have any assumed incentive identified separately and verified for your installation date and circumstances instead of treating it as a guaranteed price reduction.
Read the solar buying guide, then compare California solar prices. Select an installer on the equipment, roof work, electrical scope and warranty responsibilities you can verify, rather than an unsupported promise to eliminate every electricity charge.
